Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter
2 onions, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium head cabbage, cut into squares
1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid
salt and pepper to taste
Preparations:
First you want to melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic and saute for about 4 minutes, or until translucent. Stir in the cabbage, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Next you want to pour in the tomatoes and season it with salt and pepper to taste. Then cover the pan and cook it over medium heat for about 35 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
