So many places seem to display snippets of information about various events in Gettysburg, but none capture all of them and others don’t seem to advertise. Makes me wish there was a central location of events for this area. Maybe that’s something we can help with at Gettysburg Wire.
Anyway, people were asking me about the parade on Saturday, so I figured I would post what information I’ve been able to procure to help out residents and guests.
Date: December 6th (NO RAIN DATE)
Time: 7pm
Starting Street: Lefever Street in front of Lincoln Elementary
Destination: Around Old Keefauver and Middle Schools
The parade will follow along Baltimore Street to the square and turn onto York street for those that want to line up to see the parade. There will be bands, christmas carols, costumes, dancers and support local youth groups. After the parade, enjoy the lighting of the Christmas Tree in the square. Santa’s Shanty will also be open on the south side of the square.
